Shortly after his brother was killed in an assassination attempt, Amsterdam student Samir narrowly escaped the same fate. Not knowing who was after him, he fled to Morocco. Years later, Public Prosecutor Sabine Lamans linked this same Samir – now under the alias Gio – to a series of killings in the criminal underworld. When a key witness is recruited and the Canadian PGP server is hacked, the Public Prosecution Service suddenly has a wealth of new evidence at its disposal. Both driven by the same intense desire for retribution, the battle between “right” and “wrong” becomes more intense than ever.
